If Yes———– THERE IS A WAY.
So what do people usually do when they don’t find your name listed directly on a Facebook search engine? They right away hop into major search engines like Google to check out your profile.
Now, that’s called an infringement, where your personal information is publicly shared with any random trespasser. However, you cannot do anything about Google indexing your profile that openly. But you can certainly delist your name from the Search Engine.
Continue reading to know the trick………………………
First head over to your Facebook profile using your desktop, laptop, Android, or iPhone device.
Check at the top right corner for an inverted arrow icon. Click on it to get a drop-down menu.
Select “Settings and Privacy”.
Under the same choice, go to “Settings” and click on it.
Click on the “Privacy” option from the left-hand side column.
Now on the new operating page, scroll down to find an option, labeled “How people can find and contact you?”
Under the same label, click the “Edit” button next to the blue link “Do you want search engines outside of Facebook to link to your Profile?”
Uncheck the box for the line “Allow search engines outside of Facebook to link to your Profile.”
You will get a confirmation notification to “Turn-Off”. Click on it to confirm.
Eventually, click on the “Close” button to save your changes.
You can now try out to check if your Facebook profile is listed on Google or any other search engines or not.
If you had done everything as exactly as mentioned above, you are delisted for sure.
