Flash RAM- the advanced storage technology within SSDS is undoubtedly immune to the violent disaster as well as wear and tear that sometimes results in the crash of hard drive. But, this encounters many problems. So, it is very obvious that every time we write to flash RAM, every time your SSDs card is about to failure.

But, just by following some simple and easy steps, the lifespan of SSDs card is going to be increased. Fortunately, these steps are very tiny and simple as well. So, it is much better to avoid unnecessary writing. This can easily be done by tuning off some Windows settings.

Visual Memory

If there is more than one program running on your computer, which is absolutely fit in the physical Ram then Windows swaps some of those programs that are running simultaneously to the internal drive.

Hibernations

A trickle of energy is going t be consumed when the Window Pc is put on the energy-saving sleeping mode. So, one of the best ways that you can go for is hibernation. Then it is hibernated, it shut down the hardware entirely.

There is one thing that you should be aware about it. Hibernation copies everything in RAM into the C drive that sometimes results in wearing out the SSDs.

To be safe and secure, you can disable hibernation. If you are Windows 8 user then you need not to worry about anything! In Windows 8, the option of hibernation is disabled by default. But, if you are a Windows 7 user then you can disable the hibernation option by simply following the Microsoft instructions.

Superfetch

Superfetch is nothing, but just a Windows feature, which is supposed to improve performance and nothing else. It actually damages the SSDs and reduces the lifespan of the SSDs as well.

So, to improve the lifespan of SSDs, it is much better to disable this feature called Superfetch. To disable Superfetch, the only thing that you have to do is to follow some steps. The steps are very easy and simple. Here are the steps:

  • Search and then select service in the resulting open Service window.
  • In the next step, you have to scroll down.
  • In the next step, double click on super fetch.
  • Go to Start Up type menu and then select the Disabled option.

In this way, you can disable Superfetch feature and increases the lifespan of your SSDs card.

Defragged

Fragmentation even worse the situation and also reduces the lifespan of the SSDs card. So, defragged is one of the best ways to improve the lifespan of SSDs card. In Windows 7, click the Start button then go to disk defrag or type disk defrag and then go and Select Disk Defragmenter.

So, these are some of the easy and simple ways that helps you to maximize the lifespan of the SSDs card. The only thing that is required is to follow these steps rigorously and improves the utility of your SSDs card.
