Step 1. Select the files and folders that you want to zip first. If there are more than 1 file or folder then simply press the “Ctrl” button and keep clicking on the files that you want to zip.
Step 2. Right-click on any file and choose “Send To” followed by “Compressed (zipped) folder”
Step 3. Name the zip file anything and press enter to save it.

Method #2: How to Zip a file in Windows 10 with default Zip Feature
If you want to zip multiple files and folder with single click and follow these steps –
Step 1. Select all the files and folder that you want to zip first.
Step 2. From the toolbar, click on “Share” and press the “Zip” icon once.
Step 3. Rename the new zipped file and save.
That’s all. You have zipped all the files and folder in Windows 10 that easily.
In order to extract the files from the zipped file, simply open the zipped file, select all the data contained inside it then drag & drop those files in the local drive. Easy as that.
