CDS up to now was a fantastic help. But at the moment the great problem is, that CDS 6 does`t work properly. Too many bugs. Index is always incomplete and email preview sometimes doesn´t work. And Copernic Support doesn´t answer since 1 week. No help / solution in sight !!!? Should i change to lookeen? Please stop distributing CDS 6 until it´s completly developed. Can I use CDS 5 meanwhile with my serial# of CDS6 ???

This once-respected desktop search product is badly let down by severely under-resourced R&D and Tech Support departments. In fact, I think their entire tech support staff comprises three people in Canada. This is nowhere near enough to cope, and if you can get tech support to respond to you within the 30-day trial period, you’re doing well. And if they actually provide any helpful response, then you’ve done better than me.

I’m actually pleased to update my negative review here (February 24, 2017 at 10:13 am) which was based on my previous experience with v5 of CDS in August 2015. Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to test out the newly released CDS v6 thanks to the 30-day trial, and found it much better. I also got responsive assistance from tech support during the trial. So, I think Copernic may have turned the corner!
