Read the steps below:

Step 1. Turn off your PC and then turn it on again.
Step 2. When the system logo appears on the screen, press the F2 function key to start the boot menu.
Step 3. Once you have accessed the boot menu, change the boot menu option to CD/DVD or USB, whichever bootable disk is available to you.

METHOD #2: Rebuild Boot Configuration Data file in Windows 10

Boot Configuration Data or shortly abbreviated as BCD is a particular system file that commands the OS how to boot your computer. If BCD is corrupted, then this error is bound to occur.
For this method, you would need the Windows installation disk like the previous method.
Read the steps below:

Step 1. Firstly, boot your OS using Windows 10 OS install CD/DVD or USB like explained the last method.

Step 3. Now from the next page, click on the “Repair your computer” link from the bottom left corner of the screen. Then click on the “Troubleshoot” option, next “Advanced options”.

Step 5. Now when the black screen appears, enter the following command and hit “Enter”:

bootrec /scanos
bootrec /fixmbr
bootrect /fixboot

Still not working? Don’t waste your time, switch to the next method.

Method #3: Configuration Reset of BIOS/UEFI

This issue may arise due to misconfiguration of BIOS also. In order to fix it, follow the steps below:

Step 1. Restart your computer and when the manufacturer logo turns up, press keys like F2, Del, Esc, etc to access the BIOS settings. This key varies for different devices.
(NOTE: If you are not sure about which key to press, Google it by your device model number.)
Step 2. Use the arrow keys to find the “Default option”.
Step 3. Click on this position and then hit the “Enter” button on your keyboard. This simple task will reset your BIOS configuration.
Step 4. Save the new setup and exit BIOS.
Once your exit, your device will automatically restart and the issue is most likely to be sorted out.

If none of the aforementioned methods work in your favor, then you should either replace the CMOS battery right away or get your computer checked by any technician. The problem could also arise due to the wrong installation of OS, something which you may not be able to figure out on your own. So definitely you would need expert advice.
