How to Switch Apple ID’s on your iPad or iPhones?
Now, there will be times, when you would definitely wish to possess multiple Apple ID’s just like every other interface in order to switch to keep your personal uses (like maintaining contacts, downloads, videos, etc.) and professional tasks (like, editing files, sending emails, etc.) totally separate.
Fortunately, Apple allows users to do that.
What Exactly Happens when you Switch Apple ID’s?
When you switch between Apple IDs on your iPhone or iPad, most of your contents will remain, for instance, calendars, contacts, photos, videos, apps, books, music, subscriptions, etc.
But updating apps or services will be a problem if you are logged into a different iTunes of App store than the one you purchased them on.
There is a hack to it. While you are signed in to a different Apple ID, you are allowed to merge the contents present on your Apple device with the iCloud server associated with the new Apple ID. So make sure to save your contents from your previous account on your iPhone or iPad before signing in to the new ID. Once you are signed in to the new ID, merge your contents from your device to iCloud, and you are ready to go.
